Company

We’re building the adult ad network we wanted to use.

Nyhilism is an adult-vertical advertising marketplace where publishers and advertisers agree on what they’re buying before money changes hands. Public quality scores. Automatic invalid-traffic refunds. Seven-day payouts. Self-hosted infrastructure that can’t get pulled out from under us.

Mission

Why we exist

The adult ad industry runs on the assumption that opacity is load-bearing. Publishers don’t see how their quality score is computed. Advertisers don’t know which impressions are bots until after they’re billed. Marketplace listings hide the same data the platform uses to decide who wins the auction.

We think that’s the easiest part of the industry to fix. The hard parts — moderation, compliance, payment processing, dealing with the actual content — we’re still figuring out alongside everyone else. The opacity is a choice. We made a different one.

Principles

What we won't compromise on

  • Public quality scores

Every publisher's quality grade is visible to every advertiser. Same number, same data, same view. No tier-based gating, no premium-information funnel.

  • Automatic invalid-traffic refunds

Datacenter ASN traffic, off-screen impressions, click-fraud heuristics — flagged invalid and removed from the invoice before it closes. The aggregator that closes invoices lands before GA; the integrity checks themselves run today.

  • Seven-day publisher payouts

Earnings clear weekly past the $50 minimum, paid via Paxum / USDT / wire. Industry standard is net 30. We don't see why. Payouts go live at GA — alpha publishers accrue a balance now.

Infrastructure

How it's built

Self-hosted on hardware we own at Hetzner Falkenstein. PostgreSQL + Memurai. Cloudflare in front for DDoS and edge caching. Cloudflare R2 for screenshot + creative storage. We’re deliberately not on AWS, Vercel, Supabase, Neon, or Clerk — every one of those vendors has shut down adult customers at one point or another, and we’re not betting the network on a TOS interpretation we don’t control.

The full stack is documented at /transparency, and our public status page (/status) shows real-time uptime per component.

Team

Who we are

Solo operator. The CTO, head of design, ops, and janitor is one person. The advantage: every decision is made by the person who’ll have to live with it. The disadvantage: it takes a little longer.

We’ll grow when growth is necessary. In the meantime, email [email protected] and you’ll get a reply from the founder.

The network is in alpha.

We’re onboarding a small batch of publishers first to shake out edge cases on inventory, scanning, and payouts. Sign up if you want to be among the first names listed on the public directory.
