Policy
Acceptable use policy.
What we host, what we don’t, and how we enforce it. Categorical bans on the first page; specific creative, landing-page, and publisher rules below; the enforcement ladder at the bottom.

01
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to every advertiser campaign, creative, landing page, and every publisher site + zone listed on the network. It supplements (does not replace) the prohibited-content rules in the Terms of service.
02
Categorical bans (no exceptions)
The following are banned outright. A single confirmed violation triggers immediate, permanent termination — there is no warning ladder.
- CSAM. Any material depicting or appearing to depict a minor in a sexually explicit way — real, simulated, AI-generated, animated, or implied.
- Non-consensual material. Including hidden-camera, stolen-content, revenge-porn, and impersonation deepfakes.
- 2257-noncompliant material. Any U.S. 18 U.S.C. § 2257 covered material without records on file.
- Bestiality, necrophilia, gore. Including material that depicts serious self-harm.
- Trafficking + sex-trade solicitation.Including escort listings that don’t comply with applicable local law.
- Malware payloads. Creatives that drop binaries, install drive-by exploits, or hijack the browser.
03
Creative restrictions
Creatives that appear on publisher sites must:
- Not impersonate system UI (fake Windows alerts, fake browser updates, fake antivirus warnings, fake CAPTCHA forms).
- Not auto-redirect, auto-download, or trigger pop-ups outside the iframe sandbox.
- Not contain auto-play audio.
- Not show explicit penetration on banner formats served to non-adult-gated zones. Tease-only or non-explicit creatives are required for sponsored-content slots.
- Match the landing page’s actual product. Bait-and-switch creatives — adult creative leading to a non-adult survey funnel — are removed and the campaign is suspended.
- Disclose paid-affiliate relationships where required by the FTC Endorsement Guides.
04
Landing page restrictions
- The destination URL must resolve to a page that is materially described by the creative. We periodically crawl destinations.
- The page must not run cryptocurrency mining, browser-locker, or any script that disables the back button.
- The page must not collect credit-card information without PCI-DSS compliance — we don’t verify your PCI status but we report sites that appear to be skimming.
- The page must comply with the destination country’s age-verification laws (e.g. Texas HB 1181, Utah SB 287, UK OSA, EU DSA Article 28).
- Prescription drug / Rx pharmacy landing pages require documentation showing licensure in the destination country.
05
Publisher restrictions
- You must own or be legally authorized to monetize the domain. We verify at first tag fire and randomly thereafter.
- You must not run code that auto-clicks, frame-stacks, or generates impressions via headless browsers / bots.
- You must not run pop-under stacks, history-injection redirectors, or back-button hijackers on a Nyhilism-monetized page.
- You must show your 18+ gate / interstitial as required by your jurisdiction (TX, UT, LA, MS, NC, MT, FL, ID, IN, KS, NE, OK, SC, TN, VA, KY, AR, AL, GA — list grows; check our age-law tracker).
- Your site’s SiteScan grade is your scoreboard — repeated C-grade scans trigger an inventory pause until issues are addressed.

How we enforce
Automated
- PhotoDNA — planned before GA.Once integrated, every uploaded creative will be hashed and checked against the Microsoft PhotoDNA database before human review, with matches halting the upload and notifying our trust & safety inbox. Today, human review is the gate.
- Traffic-integrity scoring.Per-impression datacenter ASN check, viewability check, focus check, and per-user impression cap. Hits remove the impression from the invoice and contribute to the publisher’s quality score.
- SiteScan. Automated scan on signup and on demand for compliance signals — 18+ gate, DMCA footer, presence of disallowed scripts. Recurring scheduled rescans are on the roadmap.
Manual
- Creative review. Every creative is reviewed by a human moderator before first serve, with a published SLA of 24 hours.
- Reports. Any user, publisher, advertiser, or third party can report a violation at [email protected]. Reports are triaged within 1 business day.
- DMCA. Copyright complaints route through /dmca with a designated agent on file.
07
Remediation ladder
- Notice. First-time non-categorical violations get a notification with a 72-hour remediation window.
- Pause. Continued non-compliance pauses the specific campaign or zone.
- Account suspension. Pattern of violations (3+ in 30 days) suspends the org pending review.
- Termination. Refusal to remediate, evidence of bad-faith bypass, or any categorical-ban violation terminates the account with the balance settled per the standard payout / refund rules.
